Hope Alice Merrill, 93, of Brush, passed away Saturday morning, September 8, 2012 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born February 20, 1919 at Woodrow, CO. Hope is survived by a son, Richard Merrill and wife Barbara of Ft. Morgan, a daughter, Sandra McGee and husband Bernie of Wichita, Kansas, grandsons, Jim Merrill of Denver, and Troy Merrill and wife Mona of Woodrow, CO, granddaughter, Crystal Osthoff and husband Shawn of Ft. Collins, CO, grandson, Steve McGee and wife Sarah of Erie, CO; granddaughter, Michelle McGee of Wichita, Kansas; grandson, John Hart of Denver; granddaughter, Susan Metzler and husband, Jeremy of Greeley; great grandchildren, Logan and Sidney Merrill, Dillon and Allison Osthoff, Irelyne, Shealyne and Chase McGee, and Mason Metzler, also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence, son James Merrill, daughter, Carol Hart; and an infant granddaughter, Penny Merrill. Graveside Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Brush Memorial Cemetery. The Heer Mortuary in Brush is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
