Hope Rice died on Mother's Day morning at the Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. She was 79 years old.

Born on September 2, 1942, she grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado. Her parents were Caroline Gingras and Albert Rice. Caroline sold make-up door-to-door. Albert was a ranch hand. Her younger brother Terry served as a private in the United States Army. Hope worked as a hairdresser and attended the Page Beauty School in North Hollywood, California. She was a Midwest girl, in the best sense, decent, brave, beautiful and kind. Life demanded forgiveness and she gave it. She leaves behind a heartbroken son Andy Bridge, who even as a man, will always be her boy.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM at New Raymer Cemetery in New Raymer.
