Ignacio Hernandez-Montoya, 60, of Fort Morgan, died from injuries he received after being struck by a motor vehicle.

He was born January 30, 1960 in Mexico to Juan and Lorenza (Montoya) Hernandez.

Ignacio married Maria D. Guerro-Pina.

He moved to the Fort Morgan area in 1992 after living in Florida for a time. Ignacio enjoyed fixing up his house, fishing, hunting, guns, and watching tv, he liked the Discovery Channel.

He loved his family and they were important to him, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Maria of Fort Morgan, children, Alex Hernandez, Guillermo Hernandez, Julian Hernandez, Jessica Marin Hernandez (Marvin), all of Fort Morgan, and Daniel Ralph Hernandez of Sebring, Florida, grandchildren, Daniela Marin Hernandez and Elizabeth Marin Hernandez.

There will be a visitation, Thursday, February,13, 2020 from 4 until 6 pm followed by a rosary vigil at 6:00 pm at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 14, 2020 at 10:00 am at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
