Irene S. Pajanen, 88, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born September 6, 1923, in Peterborough, NH to George & Antoinette Emery. Irene married Richard Pajanen on June 23, 1947, in New Ipswich, NH. She worked for the Gurnsey Cattle Company for several years. In 1989, the Pajanen's moved to Brush to be closer to their daughter and her family. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Quinn, and her husband Jerry, of Brush; 1 brother, Henry Emery of Peterborough, NH; 2 sisters, Rita Allen of Peterborough NH and Doris Clouth of Bennington, NH; 1 grandson Richard, and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her parents. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 27, 2012, at 10:00 AM at the Rankin Presbyterian Church in Brush. The service will conclude at the church. Inurnment will be in Temple, NH at a later date.
