IVADELL E. DIEKEN 91, of Fort Morgan, died Friday at the Autumn Heights Health Care Center in Denver. She was born April 29, 1916 in Nebraska to Vanney & Orphia (Mater) Willis. She married Herman H. Dieken. Mr. & Mrs. Dieken moved to Fort Morgan from the Denver area about 1984. Mrs. Dieken worked at a gift shop in Red Rocks for a number of years. Mrs. Dieken was a member of the Women of The Moose. She enjoyed talking to people and visiting Black Hawk. She is survived by her son, Robert Dieken of Greenville, TX, three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Lee and Bud; two sisters, Georgia and Mabel, her husband, and her daughter, Gladys Peters. Visitation will be Saturday, March 22, 2008 from 9 AM until 12 Noon at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, also at the chapel. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to the Fort Morgan Animal Shelter, 900 East Railroad Ave., Fort Morgan, CO 80701. The Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
