Ivan H. Case, 81, longtime Brush resident, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. He was born May 17, 1933, in Alma, NE, to Harry & Edna Mae Case.

On August 2, 1950, Ivan married Florence Delimont in Phillipsburg, KS. After moving to Brush, Ivan worked at Burlington Northern Railroad, as a patrolman for the Brush Police Department, a maintenance man for Sigman Meat Company and Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center.

Ivan enjoyed working in his large garden, tinkering and building things, fishing and gambling in Las Vegas, NV. Family was an important part of his life.

Survivors include his 6 children, David Case of Greeley, CO, Diane Vandersnick of Montana, Duane Case of Kansas, Dennis Case of Arizona, Daniel Case of Brush, and Donny Case of Denver; 1 brother, Calvin Case of Missouri and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, 1 sister and his parents.
