Robert Jack Harman, 85, of Brush, Colorado, passed away on February 5, 2026. His beloved wife, Frances Jane Setterburg Harman, 85, followed him in passing on February 15, 2026. Together in life and in love, they now rest side by side, leaving behind a legacy rooted in devotion to one another and quiet strength.

Robert (Jack) was born on January 14, 1941, and was a lifelong resident of Brush, Colorado. A hardworking and dedicated man, he spent many years employed at Stickney's Auto Parts and C & C Auto Parts, where he eventually retired. He also proudly volunteered his time with the Brush Fire Department, serving his community with humility and commitment. In his younger years, Jack had a passion for art, and throughout his life he enjoyed leatherwork, hunting, camping, fishing and had a talent for saw-sharpening. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and deep devotion to his wife and family.

Frances ( Fran ) was born on April 3, 1940, growing up in Otis, Colorado, and spent most of her adult life in Brush. She built a meaningful career starting in the United States Air Force, then for the REA in Fort Morgan, the Brush School District, and later the Federal Housing Association in Fort Morgan, where she retired. Fran had a vibrant and eclectic spirit. She found joy in antiques, garage sales, cross-stitching, reading, and she had a special love for flowers and gardening. She created a home filled with beauty and treasured collections. Above all, she cherished the people she loved.

Together, Jack and Fran shared a life rich in simple joys and lasting memories. They loved traveling by bus to destinations across the United States and treasured their trips to Alaska. Some of their most peaceful and meaningful moments were spent together camping—whether at Lake McConaughy or in the Big Thompson Canyon—enjoying the quiet companionship that defined their enduring bond.

They are lovingly remembered by their son, Michael Harman and his wife Diane Harman  their grandchildren Bryce Harman, Mikaela Martinez-Harman and her husband Roberto Martinez ; and their great-grandchildren, Taylor, Luke, and Gabriel Martinez-Harman. Additionally they are remembered by their daughter Cris Baker and her husband Dan Baker; their grandchildren Lauren Allmaras, Jayme Linker, Coree Kane and their families. Fran is survived by her sister, Cheryl McDaniel, her husband Allan McDaniel, and their family. Jack is survived by his sister Barbara and late husband Gerald Heardt and their family.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Treva Harman and Woody Harman. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Hellen Setterburg and Mike Setterburg, as well as her sister Marcelyn Brown and husband Dave Brown, Linda Grippin and husband Don Grippin.

Jack and Fran will be remembered for the life they built together—one marked by love, resilience, and unwavering dedication to each other. Their legacy lives on in the generations they nurtured and the memories they created.

A private celebration of life will be held for family at a later date.
