Jack R. Harriosn, 77, longtime Scottsbluff, NE resident, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Brush. He was born July 25, 1935, in Scottsbluff to Clyde & Ruth Harrison. Jack served in the US Navy from 1954 until his honorable discharge in 1958. On June 18, 1955, he married Phyllis PeCoy in Madison, WI. In 1962, the Harrison family moved back to the Scottsbluff community. Prior to retirement, Jack was in the building construction business. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; 4 children, Sheryl White and Thomas J. Harrison both of Scottsbluff, NE; Linda Jones of Aurora, NE, and Andrew J. R. Harrison of Mesa, AZ; 1 sister, Betty O'Dell of Olney, TX and 1 brother, Richard Harrison of San Bernardino. CA; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 infant sons and his parents. A memorial service will be held in Scottsbluff at a later date.
