Jake Wolf, (91) life long Ft. Morgan resident, died Wednesday evening at his home in Ft. Morgan. Jake was born November 16, 1914 in Ft. Morgan to Henry and Anna (Hoffner) Wolf. He married Edna Stroh in June of 1934. Edna died July 30, 1985. He married Marie Harris on July 14, 1993. Marrie died December 23, 2004. Jake worked for the Morgan County Rural Electrical Association for over 40 years. Starting as a lineman, to foreman and than as a supervisor. He was a member of the Christ Congregational Church, serving as a deacon and being active in the church. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Palmer of Milliken, Norma Scott of Bailey, and one son Jack Wolf of Wiggins, step-daughters, Annie Nuss of Arvada, Sharon Edgar of Sprins, TX, Linda Schilling of Brush, and Cyndy Dobbins of Ft. Morgan, one brother, David Wolf of Santa Monica, CA, one sister Catherine Linker of Ft. Morgan, and collectively 52 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both Edna and Marie, his parents, 3 brothers, Henry Fred and Sam Wolf, 5 sisters, Lydia Cooper, Ann Weimer, Marie Schaaf, Lucille Stumbaugh, and Amelia Wolf. A Graveside service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Ft. Morgan. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the Christ Congregational Church at 730 Ensign Ft.
