JAMES D. "JIM" FANNING, 45, lifelong resident of Fort Morgan, died Saturday, May 10, 2008. He was born January 9, 1963 in Sterling to John & LaDonna (Campbell) Fanning. He married Karen Everett on July 3, 2004 at their home in Fort Morgan. Mr. Fanning worked as a handyman for the majority of his life. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Fort Morgan. He enjoyed working in his yard, and especially liked his trees. He also liked welding, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He was fold of old tractors and spent much time restoring one that was given to him. Fanning is survived by his wife, Karen Fanning; and his father, John Fanning, both of Fort Morgan; his daughter, Heather Fanning of Greeley; two step children, Jay Ragsdale of Omaha, NE, and Kyndra Ragsdale of Fort Collins; his sister, Stephanie Murray of Loveland; and two step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaDonna Fanning. A memorial service will be Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the United Presbyterian Church in Fort Morgan.
