James Alan Longcor, Jim, age 71, passed on October 05, 2014 surrounded by his loving family in Greeley. Born on January 28, 1943 in Norfolk, NE, Jim met his beloved wife Regina (Lee) in Fremont, NE and they married on December 21, 1970. The two eventually found their way to Fort Morgan, CO where they raised four sons in a log house on Cedar Street in Log Lane Village. Jim was an OTR truck driver and was always entertaining with "stories from the road". He loved old cars (especially Corvettes), country music, and the Denver Broncos. He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina. He is survived by: sister Cathy (Christian) of Moore, Oklahoma; son James (Colgan) of Thornton, CO; son Sean (Colgan) of Foxfield, CO; son Edmund (Colgan) of Westminster, CO; and son Vincent (Longcor) of Greeley, CO. He is survived by nine grandchildren: Jasmine, Eamonn, Archie, Kerby, Grady, Meg, Cady, Ciara, and Ainslea. Celebration of Life at Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan on Saturday October 11, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the American Heart Association.
