Jim Edward Marick was born on June 28, 1968, to Bill Marick and Barb Trout. Saturday, April 15, Jim unexpectedly passed away at East Morgan County Hospital.

Jim's current life consisted of working at Windsheimer and doing local hauls. In his earlier years, Jim had done harvesting and spent most of his life driving the roads trucking. He had a passion for racing, football, and trucking. Raiders were his favorite football team, and Kyle Busch and Dale Earnhardt and Junior were his favorite racers.

Family and friends were one of Jim's highest values. Jim's parents were the center of his attention, he loved and cared for them daily. Jim had a daughter, Leigha Meier, she met a man named Jimmy who Jim was very fond of. In November 2006, he got the best title "Papa" to Jayda Corean and in May of 2009, he received another granddaughter, Breawna Corean. He was proud of them and their love and bond was special. On June 27, 2014, Jim met who become the love of his life, Kimberly Jacobs. They began their life together, and before he knew it, he gained three stepchildren, Brandon, Payton, and Porscha.

Jim is survived by his parents, Bill & Barb, the love of his life, Kim, his daughter Leigha (Jimmy), his granddaughters, Jayda and Breawna, and three stepchildren, Brandon, Payton, and Porscha. His brothers, Joe (Donna), Justin(Stephanie), and Jason, his sisters, LaTisha (Tom) and Kerri (Justin), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends will carry the memory of Jim in their hearts forever.
