James W. McClintock, 85, passed away Friday, January 20, 2012, at Valley View Villa Nursing Home in Fort Morgan. He was born October 17, 1926, in Marlton, NJ to John & Sarah McClintock. James married Elizabeth Caroline Glas in San Francisco, CA on January 3, 1948. He served several years in the Army National Guard. James worked in the utility industry for several years on the west coast. He moved to Morgan County in November, 2004. He was very proud of his Native American heritage and supported the Sioux Indian tribe. He collected model trains and was an avid reader. Survivors include his daughter, Laurie Morris of Deer Trail; 1 brother, Gerald of New Jersey, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, one son, Scott, and his parents. At his request, no service will be held. The Heer & Dahl Mortuaries & Crematory were entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
