James Alfred Taylor, 64, local resident, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at his home in Ft. Morgan. He was born August 6, 1945 in Sherman, Texas to Hubbard and Virginia (Cantrell) Taylor. James was a family man and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing. Survivors include two sons, Scott Taylor of Ft. Morgan, James Taylor Jr. of Rockdale, Texas, sisters, Joetta Cotton of Sherman, Texas, Virginia Parsons of Commerce City, Colorado, Judy Kral and of Sindney, Nebraska, and Peggy Cook of Oakley, Kansas, one brother, Donald Taylor of Sherman, Texas, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Linda Mulvaney and one brother, Hubbard Taylor Jr. Private family memorial services have been held. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Fort Morgan was in charge of the cremation arrangements.
