Jamie Ray Larsen, born February 27th1976 in Fort Morgan, passed away on September 9th after battling a brain tumor. He was 48 years old. He was the beloved son, brother, uncle and friend to so many. He is survived by his parents Wayne and Jane Larsen, brother Patrick Larsen (Barbie)Bryant and Trinity, Tammera and Brylee and Christopher Hall (Wendy) Cody, Cole, Kalem, Alexis and Austin. Many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and many others that were considered family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Frank and Eunice Bourquin and Charles and Madilene Larsen. Also, his aunt Linda Korbe, uncle Frank and Dottie Bourquin, and uncles Gary Knowles, Red Grottland, and Bob Covelli.

In 1995 Jamie started what ended up being a career with the Fort Morgan School District. From mowing lawns to Head Custodian Jamie loved his job. He enjoyed giving the kids a hard time every time he saw them in passing.

Jamie was full of life starting young battling cancer and still being strong and being able to be a kid. Racing Big wheels in the basement to racing a stockcar on the dirt track. Jamie did everything he wanted to, always caught the biggest fish, was first awake to go hunting, being a great bowling partner or fixing up his prize El Camino he made life fun! He always had a smile on his face and was willing to help anyone. He loved being outside and got to do that frequently being a director for the Morgan Conservation Club.

A visitation will be Sunday September 22nd at Heer Mortuary 225 E Platte Ave Fort Morgan from 4-6pm.

The funeral service will be held Monday September 23rd at the Fort Morgan High School Auditorium, 709 E Riverview Ave Fort Morgan at 10 am with a reception to follow at First Christian Church, 225 W Bijou Ave Fort Morgan. Per Request of the family dress casually: Mustang gear, racing shirts or hunting gear.
