Janice L. Beckley, 80, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. She was born May 7, 1931, in Denver to Leslie E. & Doris White. On August 29, 1951, Jan married Darrell Beckley in Denver. In 1958 the Beckley family moved to Brush. Prior to retirement, she worked at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in the Human Resources Department. Jan was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. She and Darrell were very involved in the Catholic Church, serving as leaders in several marriage enrichment classes for the Archdiocese for several years. Jan enjoyed working with crafts and arts and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Darrell of Brush; 11 children, Patricia Cummings of Santa Rosa, CA; Julie Castle, John Beckley, and Teresa Young all of Greeley; Kathleen Chastain of Aubrey, TX, Paul Beckley of Edwardsville, IL, Nancy Wilkinson of Decatur. TX, Michael Beckley of Oklahoma City, OK, Robert Beckley of Altamont, IL, Mary Cummings of Brush, and Thomas Beckley of Phoenix, AZ; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Leslie White, her sister Mary Elizabeth O'Donnell, and her parents. A rosary service will be held Tuesday, February 28, at 10:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The service will conclude at the church. Private inurnment will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
