Jane Nickell, 85, Woodrow, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021, at the Aspen Leaf Care Center in Limon.  She was born December 20, 1935, in Syracuse, KS to Olen & Ethel Warner.

On December 30, 1963, Jane married Don Nickell in Syracuse, KS.  In 1964 they moved to the family farm south of Last Chance.  Together they operated the Dairy King restaurant in Last Chance for 30 years.

Jane & Don loved to travel together.  They visited many locations.  She enjoyed collecting butterflies and rooster items.

Survivors include her husband Don of Woodrow; a foster son Rodrigo (Erma Campos) Ortiz of Woodrow; 1 sister, Bonnie Willinger of Stockton, MO; 3 grandchildren, Mia, Brayan, and Rosia; and 1 great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at 2:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.  Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
