Janice Lucille Grayson, 64, life resident of Morgan County, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. She was born October 14, 1947, in Brush to Russell & Treasa Dobner. Lucille graduated from Snyder High School in 1965. She attended Parks Business College for 2 years. She was a member of the Snyder Homebuilders Club, High Plains Spinners & Weavers, and the Moose Lodge of Morgan County. She had served on the board of directors of the Morgan County Council on Aging. She delivered meals from the Meet & Eat Program in Snyder. She enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball; crocheting, knitting, and reading. Survivors include her children, Russel Joe and Karen Miranda, both of Brush, and Martina Elizabeth and Sturgis Maredith, both of Northglenn, CO; 3 sisters, Cleo Joan Pierce and Beverly Whaley, both of Snyder, and Dorothy Diane Geick of Yoder, CO; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by 1 grandson and her parents. At Lucille's request, a party will be held at the Moose Lodge on Saturday, April 7, at 2:00 PM. Per her request, everyone is asked to bring a geranium plant! The Heer & Dahl Mortuary is entrusted with cremation arrangements.
