Jean Charlotte Ogley, 81 lifelong area resident, died Friday, August 17,2012 at her home in Ft. Morgan. She was born September 2, 1930 in Ft. Morgan to Albert and Charlotte (Gneiser) Hahlweg. Jean married James R. Ogley on September 10, 1983. Jean was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Ft. Morgan. She was also a life member of the VFW auxiliary and enjoyed playing bridge, dancing,traveling and oil painting. She loved her family and they were very important to her. Survivors include, her husband James of Ft. Morgan, daughters, Diane Golgart of Ft. Morgan, Carolyn Clontz of Bend, Oregon, Lynn Lauck of Aurora and Marlene Blesch of Centennial, step-son, Chuck Ogley of Sterling, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Wayne "Butch" Lauck. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Ft. Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls. In lieu of flowers Memorial Gifts may be made to the Hospice of the Plains at 100 Broadway, Sterling, CO 80751. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
