A private life celebration will be held at a later date for Jeanette Ann Bartee, 85, who passed away on September 20, 2018, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. Inurnment will be in the J.L. Brush Memorial Cemetery.

Jeanette married the love of her life, Lloyd Bartee on May 21, 1951, in Ville Platte, LA. They lived in the Houston, TX most of their lives, moving to Colorado in their later years to be near family. Jeanette was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her son, Allen Bartee and his wife, Julie of Longs, SC; two beloved grandchildren, Melissa Bartee and her partner Fred Sanchez III of Idaho Springs, CO and James Bartee, and his wife Else of Navarre, FL; and one sister, Earlene Watson of Sugarland, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Bartee; her son, Stephen Bartee,  her sisters, Elaine Pucheu, Faye Fournier, Irene Perron, and Viola Ryder, and her parents, Cora (O'Connor) and Arcille Guillory.

Jeanette will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
