Obituary

Jeffrey L. Pangle, 60,  former Brush resident, peacefully passed away at his home in Severance, CO on Friday, February 21, 2020. He was born July 12, 1959, in Pampa, TX to Leroy & Betty Pangle.

Jeff graduated from Brush High School in 1977.  On June 24, 1984 he married Chris Kelly in Brush, CO at the Eben Ezer Church. In October of 1992 Jeff and Chris were blessed with twin boys, Matt and Mitch. They lived in Nebraska for 16 years and Jeff worked at Chief Industries as a certified welder.  In 2017 they returned to Colorado and Jeff accepted a job at Mundt Energy as Operations Manager - Shop Welding Manager.
Jeff's hobbies included golfing, grilling, fishing, hunting and sports. He especially enjoyed watching his sons play ice hockey. And most important he loved spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Chris; 2 sons, Matt and Mitch all of Severance; mother Betty Pangle and Mel McDaniel of Brush; his brother Leroy Pangle (Paula Hale) of Keenesburg; 2 sisters, Brenda (Frank) Guzman of Keenesburg; Kim Pangle (Dan Newell) of Eaton; Mother and father in law Betty and Ken Kelly; and Brother in law Tim Kelly.  He has 14 nieces/ nephews and 16 great nieces/nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Leroy; brothers Mike and Doug; and brother in law Jerry Kelly.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Heer Mortuary in Brush from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be Friday, February 28, 2020, at 11:00 AM at the Brush United Methodist Church. Reception to follow.
Memorial contributions to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association. Inurnment at a later date.
