JEREMY MATTHEW YOUNG, 24, longtime area resident, died Thursday morning, December 16, 2010 in Brush. He was born March 15, 1986 in Kimball, NE to David & Teresa (Carey) Young. He joined the U.S. Army on September 19, 2006. He was currently in active duty and recently returned home after serving in Iraq from April of 2009 to March of 2010. Jeremy was particularly fond of music. He is survived by his mother, Teresa Young of Loveland; two sisters, Heidi Young of Longmont and Amy Young of Loveland; his paternal grandparents, Jerry & Eileen Young, currently of Yuma, AZ; his maternal grandmother, Carol Carey of Enid, OK; and his maternal grandfather, Dean Carey of Nebraska Mr. Young was preceded in death by his father, David F. Young. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 23rd at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel, 225 E. Platte Ave. in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan with military honors provided by the U.S. Army.
