JEROD "JERRY" ROBERT NEB, 37, of Fort Morgan, died Friday, April 6, 2007. Jerry was born October 19, 1969 and was adopted by Donald & Evelyn (Poitz) Neb. He graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1988 and then attended Colorado State University where he was a member of the Farm House Fraternity. Jerry graduated from CSU in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics. After graduating he returned home to farm with his father and work at Bijou Hill Produce. In early 1998 Jerry opened an American Family Insurance Agency. He married Kay (Endres) Hass on July 12, 1997. Kay's daughter Chandra Hass joined their family and together Jerry & Kay had one daughter, Brookelle Marie Neb. Jerry loved hunting, big bear hugs, and spending time with his friends & family. He also enjoyed weightlifting, fishing, and singing. Amongst all things, Jerry loved to laugh. Jerry was a successful businessman, devoted father, husband, son, and uncle. He was a lifelong resident of Morgan County and a well respected member of the community, his church, and his American Family team. He received many awards throughout his career with American Family Insurance. Jerry is survived by his wife Kay Neb and daughter Brookelle Neb of Fort Morgan; his stepdaughter, Chandra Hass of Brush; his mother Evelyn Hall, and father and stepmother, Don & Jaccie Neb all of Fort Morgan; his sister Jenny Neb; nephew, Owen Bruce; his grandmother, Betty Poitz; his half-sister, Leandra Neb and half-brother, Darin Neb, all of Fort Morgan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David Jr. & Leah Neb; his grandfather, Robert Poitz; his uncle, Don "Doink" Lebsock, and his father-inlaw, Niles Endres. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11th from 5-8 PM at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 12th at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made in Jerry's name to the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan.
