Jeronimo Garcia Garcia, 67, a 20 year Morgan County resident, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the East Morgan County Hospital. He was born July 20, 1947 in Zacualpan, Mexico, to Juan and Oliva Garcia Garcia. Jeronimo married Karen Searcy on October 26, 1980 in Mesa, AZ. He worked for Pinneo feedlot for 8 years until retirement, although he never fully retired from farm work. Jeronimo served with the Mexican Army in 1966. He attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. Jeronimo was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping and working on cars. He never knew a stranger and would help anyone. Jeronimo loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Karen Sue Garcia; daughter Tiffany Gray, and her husband Bryan of Brush; three grandsons, Juan, Joey, and Jesse "Boogie Man" of Brush; Brother Antonio Garcia, and his wife Valentina, of Brush; Sister Paula Ramiez of Coolidge, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Fernando Garcia; and sister, Graciela Garcia. Visitation will be Sunday, September 14th from 4-6 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush; followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 15th at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. The Service will conclude at the church, followed by cremation.
