Jerry L. Page, 81, of Fort Morgan, died Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Medical Center of The Rockies in Loveland after a lengthy illness.

Jerry was born November 23, 1937 in Hamilton, MO, hometown of J.C. Penny. He grew up there and graduated from Penny High School in 1955. Jerry served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959 until 1964 then studied business administration at Mira Costa College in Oceanside, CA. He also attended Carlsbad Junior College.

Jerry worked as Circulation Manager for the Oceanside Tribune and Division Manager for the Copley Newspaper before relocating to Denver where he worked as Sales Manager for Francis J. Fisher Inc. He later started his own business, Ideal Coatings , doing finishes on newly constructed buildings, after which he began his work as an Armored Carrier for Wells Fargo. Lastly, Jerry worked for Denver Wholesale Florists where he met his future wife, Maralyn. Jerry married Maralyn Schwindt on January 25, 1992 in Aurora. Together they ran an antique business in Elizabeth, CO before moving to Fort Morgan where they began their eBay business.

Jerry was an avid classic car enthusiast, his pride and joy being his 1956 Ford Stepside. He was also a diehard NASCAR fan. Jerry especially enjoyed gardening. He was very proud of the yearly crop his vegetables would yield, often dispersing them among his friends and family. Jerry also enjoyed befriending and feeding the squirrels that would visit his yard.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Maralyn Page of Fort Morgan; his children, Jerry Page Jr. of Lakewood, Sharleen Ralph of Westminster, Jeri Lynn Brix of Mount Vernon, WA, Mark Page of Brewster, KS, Diane Nolan-Fadem of Palm Springs, CA, Bryan Parkhill of Elizabeth and Debra Parkhill of Fort Morgan; and his dear cousin, with whom he shared a brother/sister like bond, Carolyn McNally of Columbia, MO. Jerry is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Billie Reinhardt.

At Jerry's request there will not be any formal services. Private Family Inurnment will take place in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
