Obituary

It is with heavy hearts to let you know that Jerry Quinn passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026, due to medical issues that stimmed from an infection.

Jerry, born Jerrold Brooks Quinn, started his life in Temple, NH to parents, Brooks and Madeline Quinn in 1946. He was one of five siblings. Oh, the stories there!

Jerry and his new bride, Nancy, moved to Colorado in the early 70's to further his career in the newfound passion of gunsmithing, which he excelled at.

He had hands in nearly every corner, being an instructor for certifying NRA members, promoting 4-H shooting sports, and teaching self-defense classes, and supporting the youth of Northeast Colorado. His latest passion was flyfishing…the feathers, oh boy! One of the things Jerry was least known for was his philanthropic endeavors.

He is survived by his son, Richard (Dee) Quinn and his grandson, Brooks (Sarah) Quinn.
