Jesse D. Hopkins, 63, of Log Lane Village, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2019.  He was born December 23, 1955, in Columbus, NE to Boyd & Clara Hopkins.J

esse married Brenda Ohlmann in Montrose, CO on March 29, 1984.  They have lived in Morgan County for over 35 years.  Before retiring, Jesse worked for Cargill Meat Solutions.

Jesse enjoyed farming, hunting & fishing, and prospecting precious metals.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda; 2 children Eric and Jennifer;1 sister Jill; and 2 brothers, Jeff and Jake.  He was preceded in death by 1 sister, 1 brother and his parents.

A celebration of life service will be held in Nebraska at a later date.  The Heer Mortuary & Crematory is entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
