Jessie G. Acota, 95, longtime Morgan County resident, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at her home in Brush.  She was born June 8, 1923, in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Juan & Heremerejilda Bueno.

Jessie married Robert Acosta and he preceded her in death.  She worked in domestic services and was a beautician for many years in Brush.  She enjoyed listening to music and singing.  She participated with dance bands throughout Northeast Colorado over the years.  Additionally, she enjoyed yard work and having flower & vegetable gardens.

Survivors include her three children, Betty Califf, Butch Acosta, and Kim Castorena; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by 1 great grandson, 3 brothers, 6 sisters, and her parents.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at her home in Brush at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 15, 2019.
