Obituary

Jessie Geneveive Thomas, 67, entered her life here on earth on July 16, 1943 in Denver, Colorado. She departed on May 17, 2011 at her home in the Anton/Cope area. She was the very loving mother of four children, Cindy Lomax of Longmont, Colorado, Ed Thomas of Larkspur, Colorado, Tamera Thomas of Casper, Wyoming and Dianna Hunsicker of Hayes, Kansas. She was the grandmother of eleven and the great grandmother of four. She was also a very dedicated and forgiving wife. Along with four brothers, Lee Kirkpatrick of Sacramento, California, Steve Kirkpatrick of Lake Havasu, Arizona, Jerry Kirkpatrick of Sacramento, California and Joe Kirkpatrick of Pollock Pines, California, and one sister, Linda Byers of Kersey, Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews, there are many, many special friends that will miss her greatly. Her other greatest joy was spending time with her family. One of her most loved activities was scuba diving and she got to enjoy numerous dive trips around the world. The Galapagos, the Great Barrier Reef, off the coast of Australia, Indonesia, Paupau, New Guinea, Belize, Bonaire, the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, and Fiji were places she enjoyed with her very close dive buddies. A memorial service will be Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Brush.
