Jessie Villegas

Jessie Villegas was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms, charting his own course with a heart full of love, laughter, and loyalty. But above all else, Jessie believed in one thing: family always came first.

Jessie was born to Jose Villegas and Nettie Fuller. He was a devoted son, a loving brother, a proud father, and an adoring grandfather. He is survived by his children: Bojess Villegas (wife Jaqueline), Naomi Crutchfield (husband Aaron), Cody Villegas, and Austin Villegas. Jessie also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Chase, Mason, and Bode Villegas; Carson and Cooper Crutchfield; and Layla, Easton, and Aubryana Villegas. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings Rose Snell, Willie Villegas, Able Villegas, and Judy Perez, as well as many extended family members and friends who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Jessie was preceded in death by his beloved son, Levi Villegas and his brother Jimmy Adams. Their loss was a part of Jessie’s story and a reminder of just how deeply he loved his family. He carried their memories with him and kept them close to his heart throughout his life.

Jessie’s family was his world. He showed up for the people he loved, always. Whether someone needed a helping hand, someone to lean on, or simply someone to make them laugh, Jessie was there. Family first, in any situation.

He had a larger-than-life personality and a sense of humor that made laughter spread. Jessie was funny, caring, playful, and sometimes a little mischievous. He never lost the childlike spirit within him, and in many ways, that spirit made him even more special.

Jessie loved the freedom of the open road. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends and his sons, creating memories that went far beyond the miles traveled. He was also an avid admirer of classic cars and loved collecting classic car models and toys, which all of his grandchildren loved. But perhaps one of the greatest things about Jessie was his strength.

In his final days, Jessie faced cancer with extraordinarily quiet courage. He was a strong man, not because he was never afraid, but because he refused to let fear define his last chapter. Even while confronting such a difficult challenge, Jessie remained true to himself and continued to walk with Jesus. He carried his strength with dignity, protected the people he loved, and prioritized being surrounded by his family and the love of our Lord Jesus.

He fought his battle with a strength that those around him will never forget. And in those final days, his greatest comfort was having his children, grandchildren, and family close by.

He was strong for himself, but even more so for the people he loved. Jessie leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured simply by the years he lived, but by the love he gave, the laughter he created, the memories he made, and the family he held so close. Family first. Always.

Jessie Villegas will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
