Jesus "Jesse" Garcia Fuentes, 80, of Fort Morgan, passed away on Monday January 11, 2021 at Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan.

He was born on May 26, 1940 in El Moral, Coahuila, Mexico to Trinidad and Ana Garcia Fuentes.  He was a farmer rancher for most of his life, working 30 plus years for the DT Ranch in Weldona. His passion and knowledge of cattle and livestock was exceptional!

Jesse will be remembered as a big hearted, caring individual.  He would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. He always made sure he gave more to people than he received. Jesse never met a stranger; everyone became his friend. Jessie's family meant the world to him, especially his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. He was a hard worker all his life, never a quitter, a true fighter, all the way to the end.

Jesus is survived by his wife, Zeferina Fuentes of Fort Morgan.  His 4 children, Jose & (Noemi) Fuentes Of Brush, Anna Garcia of Windsor, Rita & (Manuel) Polvon of Johnstown, Manuel & (Concepcion) Rios of Fort Morgan; Siblings, Maria Torralba of Fort Morgan, Raymundo Fuentes of Kerrville Texas, Consuelo Villegas of Crystal City Texas, Delia Rodriguez of Gunter Texas, Carmen Soto of Carrizo Springs Texas, Elva Flores of Crystal City Texas, Rogelio Fuentes Of Crystal City Texas, Jose Fuentes of Gunter Texas, Santa Fuentes of Henrietta Texas; 17 grandkids, and 12 great grandkids.

He was Preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Ana Fuentes; Siblings, Evelio and Sylvia Fuentes; one son, Jesus Fuentes Jr., and Great great grandson, Adriel Santana Talamantes.

Jessie's family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
