Jesus Herrera Jr., 30, lifelong area resident, died Monday, November 20, 2017 in Aurora.

He was born June 13, 1987 in Greeley to Jesus and Celeste (Moreno) Herrera Sr.

Jesus enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with friends. When camping, he liked to dig the hole for the campfire. Those who knew him will understand this.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Celeste and Richard Kane Jr. of Fort Morgan, his father Jesus Herrera Sr., of Sterling, his brother, Richard Kane III, and his sister, Karla Kane both of Fort Morgan.

Jesus was preceded in death by his brother Mario Natiel Herrera.

There will be a Rosary Vigil Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at Saint Helen's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
