Jo Annette Motley, 69, lifetime Colorado resident, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Centennial Health Care Center in Greeley. She was born April 13, 1945 in Laredo, TX, to Robert and Marjorie Eaton. Jo married the love of her life Roger Motley fifty years ago on August 15, 1964 in Englewood. She graduated from Englewood High School in the class of 1963. She was a graphic designer and owned her own business, Design, Etcetera. She was a member of the Summit Baptist Church in Wiggins and many different barrel racing and rodeo associations. Jo was a champion barrel racer, and the fastest ribbon roping runner in the country! She took great pride in her home and was known for her attention to detail. Jo loved gardening, horses, and spending time with the family. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. Survivors include her mother Marjorie Eaton; husband, Roger Dale Motley of Wiggins; daughter Laura Lambert and her husband Ricky, of Wiggins; and their two sons Brayden and Boedy; son Josh Motley and his wife, Jeane of Fort Morgan; and their daughter Lauryn, and step children Collin and Ashlyn Goetz; sister Debbie Taylor and her husband, Dave of Castle Rock; and three brothers, Gary of Lander, Wyo., Gale of Wiggins, and Richard Eaton and his wife, Sharon of Parker . She was preceded in death by her father Robert Eaton. A Memorial service will be Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Summit Baptist Church in Wiggins.
