Obituary

Joan Corsentino, 85, longtime area resident, died Monday, December 1, 2014 in Fort Morgan, CO. Joan was born November 29, 1929 in Brighton, CO to George and Elisabeth Seader. She was the 11th of 12 children. Joan was baptized at the Zion Church in Brighton, she attended Tonville Grade School near Hudson and graduated from Brighton High School in 1947. She married Joseph Leonard Corsentino on December 18, 1947 in Raton, New Mexico. They resided and farmed in the Brighton area until moving to Wiggins. Joan was an active member and volunteered at the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan. She liked to travel, play bridge, pinochle, bunco, and take care of her yard. She also enjoyed socializing with her friends. She loved her family and they were very important to her, especially her grandson Cody. Survivors include her two sons, Russell "Dino" Corsentino and wife Sheryl of Fort Morgan, and Joseph Lee Corsentino of Evans, two brothers, George Seader of Henderson, and Paul Seader and wife Paula of LaSalle, one sister, Elsie Lewis of Denver, her grandson, Cody Corsentino and many nephews and nieces. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Joseph who died in 1992, sisters, Mary Lehl, Catherine Seader, Christine Seader, Katherine Hessler, Pauline Laber and Lillian Martin, two brothers, Daniel and Robert Seader, and her parents. Visitation will be at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 3 pm until 6 pm. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10:30 am at the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens. Friends who wish, may make memorial gifts to the United Methodist Church in Fort Morgan.
