Joan Lee Little left this earthly world at the age of 91 on April 14, 2025 to join her lord, husband and other family members in heaven.

Joan was born August 7, 1933 in Topeka, Kansas to Orville Lloyd and Hazel (Thompson) Lloyd.  Joan grew up with her sister, Claudene and brother Bill.

Joan met Max Evan Little in 1952 in Salina, KS. They were married on Joans' birthday, August 7, 1953 in Littleton, CO.  The newlywed couple returned to Kansas where Max worked at an aircraft assembly plant and at the family farm.  Joan and Max were blessed with four children, Sherilynn Sue, Terry Lee, Sandra Kae and Jeffrey Scott.  Joan's brother William (Bill) Lloyd, on occasion, lived with the family and became more of a brother than an uncle to the Little children.  In 1964 the family moved to Littleton, CO and later to Westminster CO. Max and Joan later bought a cabin near Bailey, CO where they spent weekends and vacation time for several years.  In 1975 Max, Joan and Jeff moved to the mountain cabin. In the years following Max and Joan followed their hearts moving for a time to Prescott, AZ, back to Bailey then to Canon City, CO, to Fort Morgan, CO for a couple years and back to Canon City.

Max and Joan celebrated their 65th anniversary with their children and several grandchildren in 2018 just prior to his death.  In the spring of 2019, Joan moved to Fort Morgan, CO to live with her daughter Sherry.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents and sister. She is survived by her brother William Lloyd and his wife Doreen, her four children Sherry (Terrie) Chapin, Terry (Mark) Thomas, Sandy Beckmann and Jeff (Caron) Little, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
