JOANNE (ZWETZIG) WEBER, 70, Lifelong Fort Morgan resident, died Sunday morning, June 10, 2007 at Valley View Villa Care Center in Fort Morgan. She was born in Fort Morgan on July 7, 1936 to Alex & Eva Margaret (Bauer) Zwetzig. Joanne married Edward Weber on November 13, 1955 at the Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan. Joanne was a member of the Christ Congregational Church for 52 years. She taught Sunday School, Bible School, and served on the Board of Directors. She was a Bookkeeper for Weber Farm & Feedlot for 50 years. Mrs. Weber was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and collecting Precious Moments figurines. Mrs. Weber is survived by her husband Ed Weber of Fort Morgan; three children, Terri Lanckriet and Rick Weber, both of Fort Morgan and Scot Weber of Berthoud; her grandchildren, Zach Evelyn of Brush, Ashley Evelyn and Lacee Evelyn, both of Fort Morgan, Jordan Weber of Fort Worth, TX, Eric Rice of Maryville, TN, Lori (Rice) Boburchock of Clarksville, TN, and Travis Owen of Sterling; her great grandchildren, Makehna Evelyn, Madison Evelyn, Trinity Weiss, Olivia Rice, Jake Rice, Emma Rice, and Charlie Rice. She is also survived by two brothers, Ed Zwetzig of Fort Morgan and Richard Zwetzig of Arvada. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Zwetzig, and her beloved son, Robin Alan Weber. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Congregational Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado or to Valley View Villa in care of the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary. The Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
