Joe Lundock, 78, of Weldona passed away June 12, 2022 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO from a short battle with cancer. He was born in Fort Morgan to Fred and Edith Lundock.

The family moved from Fort Morgan to the Weldona/Goodrich area in 1949. He attended schools in Goodrich and Weldona growing up, and graduated in 1961 from Weldon Valley High School. He went to trade school in Iowa after graduation and then worked for Las Animas and Brighton newspapers. He did demolition work in Phoenix, AZ for a few years and then ran a bed and breakfast and The Bistro at Marshdale in Evergreen, CO with his son Bryan. Joe moved back to Weldona to farm and ranch.

Joe married his best friend October 12, 1999 in Las Vegas, NV. The two were inseparable and enjoyed working together on the farm, fishing in Wyoming, camping and traveling to Las Vegas and Deadwood, Alaska. He loved being with his family and friends.

Joe is survived by his wife, Mariana (Ruiz) Lundock; one son Bryan (Christine) Lundock; grandchildren, Kolten and Keegan of Evergreen, CO; his brother, Bill Lundock of Wiggins; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Edith; son, Brad Lundock; sister, Donna Phillips; brother, Fred Lundock; and niece Vicky Lundock.

Services will be held at Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church in Goodrich, CO, and burial at Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan, CO
