John Jeffrey Orr, 59, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at his home in Ft. Morgan. Jeff was born August 9, 1953 in Sullivan, Indiana to John and Lillis (Flynn) Orr. He married Doris Tageant on September 6, 1987 in Norwalk, California. Jeff lived in California for about 40 years of his life. He moved to Ft. Morgan about 5 years ago from Nebraska. Jeff was big fan of NASCAR. He also collected knives, watches, and coins. His grandchildren were very important to him and they affectionately called him papa. Survivors include his wife Doris of Ft. Morgan, daughters, Jennifer Meick of Broomfield, and Kelley Kemp of California, son, Bill Folkerts III, of Broomfield, his mother, Lillis Orr of Sullivan, Indiana, brothers, Joe Crawford of Brazil, Indiana, Michael Orr of Columbus, Indiana, and Patrick Orr of Mission Viejo, California, sisters, Alice Orr of Sullivan, Indiana, and grandchildren, Jessica, Emma, Justin, Joshie and Kylie. He was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers, Lynn and Bob Orr. Memorial Services will be Monday, March 25, 2013 at 2:30 pm at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the mortuary. The Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
