John Leroy Reed, 55, lifelong Ft. Morgan resident, died Monday, August 8, 2011 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. John was born June 3, 1956 in Ft. Morgan to Harold and Wilyodean (McGee) Reed. He married Linda Rigli on May 1, 1990 in Brush. Work was the driving force in John's life, but he did like to go fishing when he got a little time off. Survivors include his wife Linda Reed of Ft. Morgan, one son, Robert Reed of Rollins, Wyoming, two daughters, Donna Reed of Rollins, Wyoming and Jamie Reed also of Rollins, Wyoming, his mother, Wilyodean Reed of Ft. Morgan, one sister Mary and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Reed, one son, John Reed II, one brother, Don Reed and one sister, Dorothy Bourquin. Graveside Services will be August 15, 2011 at 9:00 am at Memory Gardens in Ft. Morgan. I The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
