JOHN TRAVIS SOLT, 77, former Fort Morgan resident, died Friday evening, May 23, 2008 at the Garden Square Nursing Home in Greeley. He was born September 6, 1930 in Fort Morgan to Ralph & Theresa (Travis) Solt. He worked on the farm with his father for the majority of his working years. He moved from Fort Morgan to Greeley nearly 13 years ago. Mr. Solt was a member of Saint Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan, and was a life member of the Elks. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and roller skating in his younger years. He is survived by his brother, Richard Solt of Greeley. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Robert L. Solt, and his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Saint Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. The Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of arrangements.
