JOLENE JANELLE CASTILLO, 30, of Denver, died Thursday, October 4, 2007. She was born August 11, 1977 in Denver. She married Jorge M. Castillo on February 6, 1998. Janelle worked at Porter Place Retirement Center in Denver as a CNA at the time of her death. Mrs. Castillo enjoyed shopping. Her family was most important to her. She especially enjoyed spending time with her son and nieces and nephews. She is survived by her mother and step-father Patricia (Troudt) Sierra & Theodore Sierra of Denver and formerly of Fort Morgan; her husband Jorge Castillo and son, Anthony Jorge Castillo, both of Denver; four brothers, Jason Bartow and Justin Bartow, both of Fort Morgan, Lance Bartow of Olney Springs and Layne Bartow of Denver; one sister, Loretta Bartow of Denver; and one step brother, Teddy Sierra. Castillo was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Louie & Josepha Troudt. Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 10 AM until 12:30 PM in the Monsignor Dinan Hall at Saint Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 12:30 PM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 PM, also at the church. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. Friends may make memorial gifts in Castillo's name to the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave., Fort Morgan, CO. The funds will be used to establish a college savings for Jolene's son.
