Jose Gilberto Saravia, 19, of Fort Morgan, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Jose was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 4, 1996 to Gilberto Saravia & Fidelina Castillo. The family moved to Fort Morgan when Jose was eight years old. He attended area schools and, at the time of his death, was only one semester away from receiving his Associates Degree in Automotive Technology at Morgan Community College. He was currently employed at Cargill in Fort Morgan. Jose had a passion for cars and he loved to work on them. He loved kids and he especially enjoyed his dogs. He was a lovable person with a big heart. A happy guy, always with a smile on his face, it brought him great joy to be able to make other people laugh. Jose is survived by his mother, Fidelina Castillo of Fort Morgan; his father, Gilberto Saravia of Huntington Station, NY; and his siblings, Sofia Saravia of Fort Morgan, Adonis Saravia of El Salvador, Martha Saravia of Tulsa, OK, and Irving Aguilar of Huntington Station, NY. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Sofia Castillo and his paternal grandfather, Hector Aguilar, both of El Salvador. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jose Ramos; and his paternal grandmother, Avilia Saravia. Visitation will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan on Monday, November 9th from 1 - 6 PM with recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 10th at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
