JOSEFINA FLORES, 91, of Brush, died late Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the Eben-Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush. She was born April 12, 1916 in Mexico to Lorenzo & Maria (Villegas) Pena. She married Aurelio Flores on October 16, 1938. Survivors include three sons; Adan Flores and Adolio Flores, both of Brush, and Antero Flores of Lamesa, TX; four daughters, Blanca San Miguel and Hilda Rincon, both of Brush, Anna Carrera of Greeley and Maria Hernandez of Kingsville, TX; one brother, Porfirio Pena of Brush; several cousins including Margarita Escamilla of Kingsville, TX and 32 grandchildren and 72 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aurelio Flores, her parents; two sisters, Angelica Trevio and Socorro Soliz; and two grandsons, David Flores and Leroy Rincon. Visitation will be at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush on Friday, April 11, 2008 from 4 – 7 PM, with a Rosary Vigil following at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 12th at 10:30 AM at Saint Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
