I am sad to announce the passing of my husband, my Joe, My BABE, after a long battle with illness. He passed away at UC Health Greeley Hospital, surrounded by family, on Friday, May 19, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Araujo; his mother, Josephine Ponce; and his son, Joey H. Araujo Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Araujo; his brother, Jess Araujo; and his sister, Mary Araujo.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 25th from 4 – 6 PM with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM, at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 26th at 10:30 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
