Josie Arreola Perez, 57, formerly of Uvalde, Texas, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Josie was born October 28, 1957 in Littlefield, Texas to Dabi and Adolfa (Luna) Arreola. She moved to this area 8 years ago from Uvalde, Texas. Josie enjoyed traveling, music, crafts, and spending time with her family. When she was younger she would assist nurses who helped patients, on the Mexican border, get medical attention that they might not have gotten otherwise. Josie is survived by two daughters, Velma Perez and Vanessa Perez both of Fort Morgan, one son, Johnny "Hulk" Perez Jr. of Fort Morgan, one sister, Angie Arreola of Denver, and one brother, Lupe Arreola of Uvalde, Texas, her mother, Adolfa Arreola, of Uvalde, Texas, and grandchildren, Kaydens Ramos of Fort Morgan, and Sara Rose Perez of Lubbock, Texas. There will be a visitation and a Rosary on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. The visitation will start at 4:00 pm followed by the Rosary which begins at 6:00 pm both at the Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:30 am at the Saint Helena Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
