Obituary

Joveta D. Franco, 92, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on October 18th at home after battling dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Joveta was born at home on February 15, 1930, to Joseph and Juana Moreno Dominguez in Weldona,
Colorado. She resided most of her life in Fort Morgan, CO, but did live in Denver during her twenties and worked
for Fashion Bar downtown.

In 1977 Joveta met Trino Franco of Fort Worth, TX, they married and spent sixteen wonderful years until his
passing in 1993. Joveta moved back to Fort Morgan in1994 to live closer to family. She worked most of her life in
the dry cleaning business. She loved to sew and do alterations; and was an avid fan of football, baseball, golfing
and horse racing.

In 2018 she and her daughter Laurie Adolf along with her sister-in-law Julia Dominguez and her daughter
Debbie Shariff made the big move to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the warm sunshine and beautiful ocean waves.

Joveta is survived by her daughter, Laurie Adolf and step son Frank Franco of Fort Worth, TX, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was the last surviving member of the six children in her family. Preceding her death: Paul Dominguez, Joseph Dominguez, Jr., Cecilia Rodriguez, Lucille Perez and Esiquia who passed away when Joveta was only three years old.

A celebration of Joveta's life will be held at 1 P.M. on November 4th at St Helena Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetary.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
