Juan Lopez, 19, of Fort Morgan, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, May 29, 2020.

Juan was born September 10, 2000 in Fort Morgan to Juan & Maria Lopez. He attended area schools and graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 2019. At the time of his death, he was working in production at Cargill and was very passionate about his job.

Juan's greatest passion was his family and friends. He was a genuinely happy young man who was always smiling. He loved music and always had to have it playing, no matter what he was doing. He loved football and was on the Fort Morgan High School football team. Juan had a special place in his heart for animals, especially horses. He always put other people before himself and treated everyone fairly and with respect. His friends would always confide in him and go to him for advice and his opinion was always nonjudgmental, non-bias and fair. He will be deeply missed by all of those who know and love him.

Juan is survived by his parents, Juan & Maria Lopez; his sister, Elvira Lopez; and his brother, Eric E. Arreola, all of Fort Morgan; and his god parents, German and Laura Meraz.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 4 ^th from 4-6 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan with recitation of The Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, June 5 ^th at 10:30 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
