Judy Ann Gibson, age 73, of Fort Morgan, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Colorado Plains Medical Center.

Judy was born on September 4, 1948, to Paul and Eunice (Richardson) Gebauer in Akron.

She attended school and graduated from Brush in 1966.  Judy also attended and graduated from Morgan Community College.

On August 9, 1974, she married Scott Gibson. Judy held many jobs in her lifetime including bartending, owning a catering business (County Catering), running the concessions at Morgan County Raceway, Safeway and Helena.

Judy loved music, bowling (attended state and nationals several times), driving stock cars, traveling (especially Mexico), outings with her friends and the Red Hats, and crocheting.

Judy never knew a stranger and made new friends everywhere she went.  She loved being around family especially the little ones.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul & Eunice Gebauer and her sister, Janet Gebauer.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Gibson of Fort Morgan; children, Rick Gibson (Therese) of Brush, Shelley Hoffmaster (Terry) of McCook, NE, and Curtis Gibson of Mineralwells, TX; sister, Joyce Brooks; brothers, Mark Gebauer and Marvin Gebauer,; and sister, Jonelle Grenhagen; grandchildren, Candice Martin, Michell (Brandon) Hughes, Amber (Nate) Priddy, Katie Hoffmaster (Matt), Kelsey Plank, and Tyler Gibson; great grandchildren, Payton, Asher, Jolie, Harlow, Malina, Gianna, Audrianna, Grajeda, and lots of extended family and lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 14 ^th at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, December 13 ^th from 4 – 6 PM, also at the mortuary.
