June Arlene
Bohl
May 29, 1947 — Aug 31, 2024
Fort Morgan
June Arlene (Hanson) Bohl passed away at home on August 31st, 2024. She was born on May 29th,1947 to Mark and Hazel (Batterson) Hanson, the third of four children. She grew up in Akron and Fort Morgan CO and graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1965. On October 3rd, 1965, she married Kenneth Bohl and at the time of her death they had been married almost 59 years.
June and Ken had four children, Tina (Mark) Frasier, David (Lyndell), Kimberly, and Rebecca (Roman)Raber.
June had always been a town girl, but soon became a farmer's wife after marrying Ken and she excelled at it. She became an excellent seamstress, could wallpaper anything and took pride in her tidy home and sometimes tidy children. She was very musical and was involved in her church choir, as well as numerous choirs around town that she participated in, and could play the accordion, organ and piano. She later had to go back to work and took a leap of faith and went back to school and received her RN in nursing at NJC.
June's greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. Grammie always had time for them and loved to watch them grow. We will never forget the things that you taught us, and your love for the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Verda Ely, Robert Hanson, Niece Monica Ely, nephews Roger Hanson and Les Simonsen, in-laws George & Lydia Bohl, brothers-in-law Robert Bohl, Alvin Bohl and Richard Bohl.
June is survived by her husband Kenneth, her children and their spouses, grandchildren Kara (Beau) Fuchs, Kassandra (Matt) Godo, Adam Barnett, Lydia Bohl and Ethan Bohl. Great-grandchildren Rori Godo, Olivia Godo and Crew Fuchs. Brother Ervin Hanson, in-laws Sandy (Alvin) Bohl, Gerald & Sandy Bohl, Gordon & Marilyn Bohl, Ronald & Chris Bohl, and many nieces and nephews that she loved and are too long to list here.
A Service will be held on Thursday, September 12th at 10:30a.m. at the Brush Church of the Nazarene.
