June E. Gonzales, 69, passed away Monday night, January 11, 2010, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. She has lived in Brush for the past 25 years. She was born November 11, 1940, in Los Angeles, CA to Thomas & Beulah Turner. Prior to ill health forcing her retirement, June worked as a nurse's aid for many years. She attended the Hillrose Community Church. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. Survivors include four children, Don Deal of Florence, Alabama, Greg Deal of Otis, CO, Curtis Deal and Nina Riter, both of Brush; 1 brother, Jack Turner of Dayton, NV; 17 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Ty; two brothers, Larry L. and Raymond M., and her parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2010, at 11:00 AM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 – 6 PM also at the Heer & Dahl Chapel.
